The October Exploring Creativity theme is Autumn Art. There will be no class on Wednesday, October 5th due to observance of Yom Kippur. The classes will start on Wednesday, Oct. 12 with Watercolor Fall in the Woods, followed by Contour Pumpkins on Oct. 19 and Spooky Night with Charcoal on Oct. 26. Our free Exploring Creativity group is for adults 55+, and are held on Wednesdays from 10:30 – 11:30 am via Zoom. Contact to register.
Healthcare workers on the front lines of the pandemic often suffer from burnout, stress and anxiety that can have life-altering implications. Due to overwhelming stress and fatigue, a registered nurse found himself unable to continue working in the field. Troy realized he needed treatment for both mental and physical health issues. Temporarily unable to work, medical and other bills started piling up. He was afraid he would lose his housing. “I thought I’d be losing my place to live, for sure. There are a ton of details that were pretty overwhelming for me,” he said.
